Country Fair annually gives to a variety of local charities. The Country Fair Cares (CFC) program was created in 2019 to assist 501 c-3 non-profit organizations with a pooled funding formula. County Fair Cares has raised $423,857 for 15 local non-profits in three campaigns!
Country Fair’s leadership selected five non-profit organizations to become CFC partners in 2021. These partners include Erie Humane Society, Asbury Woods, Presque Isle Partnership, Autism Society of NWPA, and Mental Health Association of NWPA. These funds were tracked through the Country Fair “Charity Pumps” between May 1, 2021 – October 31, 2021. We’re excited to announce that during this six-month timeframe Country Fair Cares raised $147,377! Each non-profit organization received $29,475.
“I’m astounded by the generosity of our community as they have once again stepped up to help these wonderful non-profits. We couldn’t do programs such as County Fair Cares without the support of our loyal customers and business partners,” said Paul Rankin, Vice President of Country Fair. Tish Bartlett, Executive Director of Autism Society of NWPA, said, “Thank you to Country Fair for entrusting our dream and making the new Autism Society Family Center a reality. Together, we build a stronger community.”
Non-profit organizations are encouraged to apply at: www.countryfairstores.com/community. The deadline is December 31, 2021. All non-profits will receive written correspondence by January 15, 2022. Successful CFC partners are not eligible to re-apply for three years following their donation; please no phone calls.
